Irmos Technologies AG, an ETH spin-off, is developing AI-powered software and customised sensors to maximise the safe operating life of existing bridges and buildings and optimise maintenance costs. The intelligent solution enables predictive maintenance by analysing vibrations and provides real-time data to actually assess the condition of structures in the event of a disaster, thereby minimising risks and reducing downtime.
