Dr. Nanja Strecker

Nanja Strecker leads the ESA Business Incubation Centre for Switzerland (ESA BIC CH). She and her team have also founded ETH Zurich I Space: a unit that aims to coordinate and facilitate all space activities within ETH Zurich. The ESA BIC CH programme has existed since the beginning of 2017 and supports start-ups with a ‘Space Connection’ in Switzerland. Nanja is an innovation expert by training and professional experience: she studied industrial engineering at KIT in Karlsruhe and completed her doctorate in innovation in Graz. Before ETH, she worked at the American management consultancy Monitor, which is now part of Deloitte. She then set up and managed an innovation unit for the company Constellium at the EPFL Innovation Park.
