Hans Rusinek

Economist & philosopher, University of St. Gallen (HSG)

Hans Rusinek researches, consults and publishes on the changing world of work. He researches the purpose of work at the University of St. Gallen. He teaches “Future of Work'” at Fresenius University in Hamburg and is a Fellow of the Club of Rome's ThinkTank30. Until 2020, he was Associate Strategy Director and the first employee of the Boston Consulting Group's purpose consultancy BrightHouse. His contributions to debates on business and society in media such as BrandEins, Capital and DIE ZEIT were honoured with the 2020 Förderpreis für Wirtschaftspublizistik. Rusinek studied economics, philosophy and politics in London and Bayreuth and design thinking at the Hasso Plattner Institute. His book "Work-Survive-Balance" about a future of work worthy of our grandchildren was published on 2023.
