Prof. Dr. Silke Langenberg

Professor Dr Silke Langenberg is head of the Chair of Construction Heritage and Preservation and engages with theoretical and practical challenges of methodical inventory, evaluation and preservation of monuments. The group is affiliated with the Institute for Preservation and Construction History (IDB) and the Institute for Technology in Architecture (ITA). Their research focuses on diverse building stocks, both older and younger, questions of their value as monuments and challenges concerning their conservation. The CAS ReMain will be offered in cooperation with the Product Development Group and the Professorship of Advanced Manufacturing.
