Rolf Neukom

Rolf Neukom is a Senior Product Manager at Swisscom and has more than 10 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. For the last five years he has specialised in Conversational AI. At the interface between business and IT, he uses this technology to create both outstanding customer experiences and sustainable savings for the company.

On the business side, Rolf is responsible for the development and deployment of 'Sam', Swisscom's digital assistant. Sam is the single point of contact for all consumer enquiries via text and voice channels. This year, the chatbot version of Sam was completely rewritten based on Large Language Models (LLMs) and achieved excellent results in a very short time.
