Vedrana Spudic

Vedrana is the R&D and Technology Manager for ABB Process Industries' mining business. In this role, she leads a team of innovators and technology enthusiasts dedicated to advancing sustainability, productivity and safety in the mining industry. Building on ABB's strong foundation in electrification and automation, and in close collaboration with partners and customers, the team is spearheading transformational change in the mining sector.

Vedrana holds a PhD in control engineering from the University of Zagreb. She has over 10 years of experience in academia, corporate research, technology and innovation leadership. Her work focuses on applications that contribute to decarbonisation efforts and the development of autonomous industries.
